What is an Insurance Broker and why should I choose BWRS?

As Insurance Brokers, we do not sell insurance, we buy it ​on your behalf and provide excellent service whilst doing so.  We are insurance experts who will act on your behalf to negotiate with insurers to help get the best deal for you in terms of policy coverage, service and premium.

 

At BWRS we add value by utilising our vast knowledge and experience of both the New Zealand and international insurance markets.  Think of us as being your own internal insurance department which goes that extra mile to ensure you have best and most appropriate insurance coverage available.

What are your office hours?

8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

 

We are also reachable 24/7 for any urgent matters.

Which Insurers do you use?

With significant presence in both the New Zealand and International markets, we have access to a wide variety of different insurers.  We will market your individual risk profile in the best possible light to those insurers best suited to cater for your specific insurance requirements.

 

We use Standard & Poors and AM Best Insurer Financial Strength Ratings to ascertain insurer security. All insurers conducting fire and general insurance business in New Zealand are required to be rated by either Standard & Poors or AM Best.

 

Our minimum rating requirement is a Standard and Poors rating level of A-(Strong) or AM Best rating of A-(Excellent).

Can I pay my premium in monthly instalments?

Absolutely and we will provide you with a competitive quote.

How do you assist with claims?

We take control of the situation when the heat goes on and work towards achieving the best possible outcome for you as the client.

How do I know that my current insurance programme is adequate?

Quite often with insurance, the devil can be in the detail, so speak to one of our expert brokers in the office nearest to you and they will be happy to provide you with a second opinion.
